Brief Job Description 

On this occasion we are looking to recruit a commissioning engineer with proven industry experience. Whilst the role is home based, candidates must be flexible and available to work away at customer sites or at our factory HQ in Mid Wales.
Daily Duties & Responsibilities:

• Candidates must have the ability to modify programmes using relevant software for packaging and automation projects, including PLC/HMI programming.
• Experience of robot installation and commissioning essential. Proficiency with ABB IRC5/S4C+ programming desirable.
• Ability to modify PLC programme – Predominantly Siemens S7-1200 PLC
• Candidates will be involved in FAT prior to machinery dispatch to ensure successful commissioning based on customer requirements.
• Train operators on site with use of machinery following installation.
• Effective communication skills and good customer service.
• Efficient Team working skills in order to work alongside Project Manager, Compliance officer, Mechanical engineers and electricians to deliver the project as per customer specification.

Currently we have an opportunity for someone who seeks a new challenge within a manufacturing role. Responsibilities will include general day to day duties associated with the planning and delivery of work to a busy manufacturing team consisting of fabricators and machine operators.
Daily Duties & Responsibilities:

– Monitor workflow/workorders and report status/delays
– Procure parts/material needed for manufacturing team
– Nesting for laser cutter (training provided)
– Booking goods in upon delivery
– Raising purchase orders within ERP system on request of manufacturing manager (ERP training provided)
– Print and issue of drawing packs for fabricators
– Point of contact for subcontract laser cutting enquiries

– Entering sales orders inside ERP
– Notify customer of completion/delays

It is your responsibility to manage the mechanical and electrical engineers to successfully complete a project within the agreed specification and timescale.

– Proficient with the use of 2D AutoCAD, experience with solidworks or other 3D deisgn software advantageous

– Installing machinery on customer sites: working alongside a senior site fitter to offload, position, bolt down machinery.
– Completing machinery sign offs and training checklists wherever required

Brief Job Description

– Provide technical sales/project support, prepare pre-calculation information according to customer specification with accuracy and timeliness.
– Ensuring that technical sales queries and tenders are processed effectively, owned and managed from start to finish, whilst obtaining customer satisfaction and to company standard.
– Identifying information required from suppliers for integrated equipment
– Prepare and maintain accurate records of cost/margin information
– Assisting the Project Manager in developing the Initial Design Specification (IDS) per the sales quotation.
– Prepare technical description of non-standard items. Concept approval, management and engagement with Technical Engineering team.
– Utilise bespoke software called “Visual Components (VC)” to design and layout conceptual packaging machinery to enable your colleagues to build quotations. Full training given.
– Manage to successful conclusion all technical queries from sales and internal colleagues. Ensure pre order information is effectively and proactively handed over to Project support team within 2 weeks of order.
