Brief Job Description

Build mechanical components into sub-assemblies and through to machine systems.

Capable to interpret and understand piece part to complex GA drawings.

Knowledge of the correct fit of tolerances required for successful sub-assembly operation.

Experience of working with hydraulic or pneumatics.

Basic fabrication skills required.

NVQ or similar qualification in Metalwork fabrication desirable.

proven skills in paying high attention to quality and detail.

Ability to work unsupervised or part of a team.

Previous work experience in a manufacturing environment essential.

Brief Job Description

Assembly of machinery in factory ready for testing. De-assembly in preparation for machinery dispatch

Installing machinery on customer sites, assisting with commissioning period

Completing machinery sign offs and training checklists wherever required

Reporting directly to the project manager in order to plan and implement delivery and installation of packaging machinery

Liaising with customers on site

Responsible for site Health and Safety – responsible for ensuring Risk Assessments and Method Statements are present for all works carried out on site

PRESS BRAKE OPERATOR

Brief Job Description

Perform daily machine start up and shutdown procedures on CNC Press Brake.

Carry out minor maintenance and cleaning of folding equipment and work area in accordance with company standards and manufactures machine recommendations.

Facilitate work-order paper flow in accordance with internal quality standards.

Adhere to the drawings & approved specifications in line with customers’ requirements,  enabling quality products to be manufactured.

Set and operate machinery adhering to strict health and safety regulations.

Carry out quality checks and record the necessary data to enable clear traceability.

Report any issues that may jeopardize quality standards

Assist with any other task as required in line with business needs and as required within your skill set and experience.
