We are currently seeking to recruit a control systems engineer. If you have an expressed interest in robotics and automation, and are looking to progress further in this particular field then we would welcome your application

• Ability to build electrical and software solutions around packaging and automation projects.

• Test programme philosophy on testing prior to machinery dispatch to ensure successful commissioning based on customer requirements.

• Train operators on site with use of machinery and able to provide aftercare support remotely.

• Effective interpersonal skills in order to work alongside Project Manager, Mechanical engineers and electricians to deliver the project as per customer specification.

• Minimum requirement of City & Guilds – Electrical Installation/Engineering, P1 & P2 or equivalent. HND/Degree in Electrical, Electronic or Software Engineering or equivalent experience favourable

• Potential candidates will receive training in programming for Industrial ABB Robots. Prior knowledge highly desirable but not necessary.

We are currently seeking an experienced electrical engineer to join our team.

– Wiring various process and packaging machinery prior to leaving our factory.

– Installation of packaging machinery on site, tracing cables back to control panel. All works to be completed prior to Programming engineers arriving on site.
– Responding to breakdowns fault finding and carrying out repairs to process packaging machinery.

Minimum requirement of City & Guilds – Electrical Installation P1 & P2 or equivalent.
– Previous experience of working electrically on single and three phase, inverters, control panels along with basic PLC knowledge.

– Compliance and due care attention paid to H&S standards. Ability to compile risk assessments and method statements. Previous qualifications desirable.

– Have excellent interpersonal skills and ability to establish and maintain customer relationships

Brief Job Description

We are currently seeking an experienced service engineer with over 3 years’ industry experience. The candidate will be home based to cover South / South West England customer base

  • Attending customer sites to carry out planned preventative maintenance to process and packaging machinery. Service will include works to both mechanical and electrical elements of the machinery.
  • Responding to emergency breakdowns and returning customers back to production by means of fault finding and carrying out repairs to packaging machinery.
  • Compiling worksheets detailing elements of service/repair works carried out on site, including information of parts and consumable used.
  • Taking calls from customers who pay for telephone assistance and dealing with any queries with they may have.
  • To ensure all service and repair work is carried out in accordance with RMGroup and customer’s health, safety and environmental guidelines.
  • Responsible for own Health and Safety, conducting task related Risk Assessments and safe system of work as necessary.
